Configuration - BOM
The infographic shows a possible installation of ServersCheck's cylindrical daisy chain temperature and humidity sensors to monitor the cold and hot aisles of a data center white space.

Our DAISY-THUM-C cylindrical sensors can be suspended from the ceiling or cable trays at any height using the included 2.8m cable to cover entire aisles. Alternatively, our DAISY-THUM sensors are designed for direct installation on server racks.

Both sensor types are designed to proactively detect temperature and humidity anomalies that can affect critical IT equipment. This configuration can be complemented with our white space room condition monitoring sensors to further increase safety and ASHRAE compliance.

The following configuration (Bill of Materials) could be considered per aisle of servers:
  • 1x Base Unit (BASE-5)
  • 1x DAISY-STARTER
  • Up to 40x DAISY-THUM or DAISY-THUM-C
  • BASE-PWR adaptor (If more than 10 sensors are placed in same sensor chain)
  • DAISY-BOOSTER (If sensor chain length is longer than 100m/330ft)
Our daisy-chain temperature and humidity sensors are factory calibrated to ensure accuracy out of the box. For applications requiring certified traceability and strict compliance, we offer the following optional services: ISO 17025 calibration certificates for temperature NIST calibration certificates for humidity.

Our Solutions team can help you to customise the configuration to your environment based on ASHRAE and other local code requirements. They can further assist in optimizing your room conditions to maximize efficiency and uptime.
